Materials: Light Sport, Fingering Wt or Crochet

Cotton in two (2) solid shades of Green

US Size 1 - 3

Finished Size Blocked:

Using Crochet Cotton #10 and US 1: 5" x 3" w/o

tassel

Abbreviations: C1 = Color One, C2 = Color Two,

K =Knit, P = Purl

Pattern Sequence:

Row 1: (C1) K the whole row of white squares

Row 2: (C1) P the white and K the grey squares.

Row 3: (C2) K the whole row of white squares

Row 4: (C2) P the white and K the grey squares

CO 24

Knit four rows.

 

Following the Pattern Sequence, follow the chart

starting at the bottom.

 

Row 1: (C1) K entire row of white squares.

Row 2: (C1) P the white and K the grey squares.

Row 3: (C2) K entire row of white squares.

Row 4: (C2) P the white and K the grey squares.

Repeat the Pattern Sequence of rows 1 thru 4,

changing color every two rows. BE SURE that rows 1

and 3 of the Pattern Sequence are always K, in the

appropriate color.

 

After row 128 of the chart, K four rows.

 

Bind off, weave in ends.

 

Finish as desired with tassel and/or beads.
